According to a statement, as per news agency JKNS, the Embassy urged Indian residents to stay updated through official channels and depend only on verified information issued by competent authorities.

The Ministry of Interior of Qatar has advised residents to remain indoors and stay in secure, enclosed locations to ensure public safety. People have been asked not to venture out unless absolutely necessary. Indian nationals have been strongly advised to adhere to these instructions without exception.

The advisory also noted that the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed the continued closure of Qatari airspace. Consequently, flight operations at Hamad International Airport remain suspended and will resume only after the authorities announce the reopening of airspace. Passengers have been advised not to head to the airport and to remain in touch with their respective airlines for updates.

The Embassy stated that it is in constant coordination with the concerned authorities and remains committed to safeguarding the interests of Indian nationals. Citizens have been urged to stay calm, avoid unnecessary movement and strictly follow local advisories.

For any emergency assistance, the Embassy can be contacted кругл-the-clock at +974-55647502 or via email at [email protected]. (JKNS)
