Srinagar, Jan 28 (JKNS): Security forces recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) conducted by Police Karnah in the Rati Tari forest area of Sector Taad in Karnah, officials said on Wednesday.
An official told news agency JKNS, that the recovery was made during cordon and search operation in Rati Thari forest area.
During the operation, the security forces recovered four Chinese pistols, seven pistol magazines, three AK magazines, 308 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, and one sniper sight, official said.
Official said that cognizance has been taken and further investigation in the matter is underway. —(JKNS)
