Srinagar, Jan 18 (JKNS): Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) is set to host the Pre-Summit event of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 on January 22, 2026, at SKIMS, Srinagar.

The event will be held under the theme “Transforming Healthcare Through Responsible Artificial Intelligence.”

The event is being organized by the Skill Development Unit, Centre of One Health–SKIMS, in collaboration with DataLEADS and MRU–SKIMS, with support from the Department of Information Technology, Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

The pre-summit will witness participation from leading national institutions across India, along with international participants. Policymakers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, academicians, and technology partners are expected to take part in the deliberations.

The discussions will focus on leveraging responsible and ethical Artificial Intelligence to strengthen healthcare delivery systems, improve patient outcomes, and build future-ready, resilient, and inclusive health systems.

Healthcare professionals, researchers, innovators, and allied stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the nationally significant dialogue that aims to shape the future of healthcare in India through responsible AI adoption. (JKNS)
