Manzoor Painter and Vertika Sharma Honoured for Contributions to Art and Culture

Delhi, Jan 13 (JKNS): Artist Manzoor Ahmed Mir, popularly known as Manzoor Painter (Itoo), from Doru Shahabad in South Kashmir, and young classical dancer Ms. Vertika Sharma from District Poonch were recently honoured for their notable contributions to visual and performing arts respectively.

Manzoor Painter, an accomplished artist with a Bachelor’s degree and a Diploma in Painting, has devoted over four decades to the promotion and preservation of Urdu calligraphy and traditional painting. His lifelong dedication has inspired generations and earned him recognition from several cultural and literary organizations across the region.
