BSF Welcomes 447 Brave Recruits as Nation’s First Line of Defence

Srinagar, Jan 3 (JKNS): The Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday inducted 447 recruits (General Duty) as the newest Seema Praharis during a glittering passing out parade at the Subsidiary Training Centre (STC), BSF, Kashmir, Humhama.

As per news agency JKNS, Passing out parade and attestation ceremony of Recruit Batch No. 128, 129 & 130 was held at Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF, Kashmir on 03.01.2026. The ceremony marked the induction of 447 Recruits (General duty) into the Border Security Force (BSF) as brave Seema Praharis.

Shri Solomon Yash Kumar Minz, IPS, IG Subsidiary Training Centre Kashmir BSF, graced the occasion as chief guest. He inspected the parade and appreciated the recruits’ immaculate marchpast, skill and coordination.

The Chief Guest awarded medals to recruits who performed exceptionally well in various indoor and outdoor training activities.

The parade for Batch 128, 129 & 130 was commanded by Recruit Constable Subhdeep Panja. Five trainees from each batch received trophies for exceptional performance.

Senior Officers of Border Security Force, other Security Forces, parents and family members of the trainees have witnessed this memorable parade and appreciated the immaculate conduct. (JKNS)
