Centre Assigns IPS Mukesh Singh as DGP Ladakh; AGMUT Cadre Reshuffle Ordered

New Delhi, Jan 2 (JKNS): The Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday effected a reshuffle of senior IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre, resulting in a key leadership change in the Union Territory of Ladakh.

As per an official order issued by MHA as per news agency JKNS, IPS officer Mukesh Singh (AGMUT: 1996), who had recently returned from Central Deputation, has been posted as the new Director General of Police (DGP), Ladakh, with immediate effect.

The order also states that IPS Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal (AGMUT: 1995), who was serving as DGP Ladakh, has been transferred and appointed as DGP, Arunachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, IPS Anand Mohan (AGMUT: 1994), earlier posted as DGP Arunachal Pradesh, has been shifted to Delhi.

The Ministry said the postings have been cleared by the competent authority and will remain effective until further instructions. (JKNS)
