Budgam, Sep 15 (JKNS): In a heartfelt tribute to the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Budgam Police today organised a ‘Run for Unity’ from exchange crossing Charar-i-Shareif to Police Station Charar-i-Shareif.
The event was dedicated to celebrating the life, role, and ideology of Sardar Patel revered as the Iron Man of India.
The run was flagged off by SHO Charar-i-Shareif Inspr. Mudasir Nazar and Inspr. Muzamil Ahmad in the presence of other police officers and a large gathering of students.
A significant number of students from Life School Charar-i-Shareif enthusiastically participated in the event, reflecting their spirit of fitness, discipline, and unity. The run symbolised Patel’s historic contribution to national integration post-independence and inspired the youth to uphold the values of unity and nation-building.
In his address, SHO Mudasir Nazar appreciated the efforts of all the participants and emphasized the importance of the debate in developing leadership and communication skills. Chairing Officers felicitated the Participants with Cash Rewards, Certificates of appreciation and Momentos to encourage all students and participants to continue engaging in such intellectual activities.
