Pulwama, Sep 9 (JKNS): A man was killed after being run over by a moving train at Panjgam railway station in south Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
As per news agency JKNS, the deceased has been identified as Reyaz Ahmad Mohand, 40, son of Ab Ahad Mohand, a resident of Kawoosa in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Officials said Reyaz was hit by train number 75652, which was on its way from Baramulla to Sangaldan. He died on the spot.
Railway authorities and police reached the spot soon after the incident. (JKNS)
