Bandipora, Aug 28 (JKNS): Two terrorists have been neutralised in Gurez sector after alert troops foiled an infiltration attempt, the Indian Army’s Chinar Corps said in a post on X.
According to the post as per news agency JKNS the joint operation was launched following specific inputs from J&K Police.
The terrorists opened fire when challenged by troops, prompting effective retaliation that resulted in their killing, it reads.
The Army said the operation remains in progress. (JKNS)
