Karnah, Aug 23 (JKNS): New Light Public Model School Chitrakoot, Karnah, on Saturday organized a grand cultural programme under the theme of Azadi Ka Mahotsav with the title “My Nation, My Identity.”

On the occasion, students presented patriotic songs and expressed their deep love and devotion towards the country. The mesmerizing performances by the young children were highly applauded by the audience.

The event was graced by Shah Mohammad Rana, Zonal Education Officer Tangdar, as the chief guest, while Khalid Mehmood, Cluster Head Chamkoot Zone & Headmaster, presided over the function. Among other dignitaries present were social activist Sajawal Shah, Sadiqa Khan, and a large number of parents.

Head of the institution Ishfaq Sayeed expressed gratitude to the esteemed guests, while Principal Jamshed Ahmad highlighted the school’s achievements and progress in both academics and co-curricular activities.

In his address, ZEO Shah Mohammad Rana lauded the school management and students, stating, “The outstanding performance of the school and the keen interest shown by the students are clear evidence that this institution holds a significant place in academics as well as extracurricular activities.” He also encouraged the children for their active participation.

Other speakers also appreciated the role of the school and the talent of the students. The programme was conducted by Hafza Jahangir and Hasnain Khurshid, who carried out the proceedings with great confidence. (JKNS)
