DC Srinagar chairs DLSCC meeting

Recommends cases for compassionate appointment of terror victims under SRO-43

SRINAGAR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo today chaired a meeting of District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee (DLSCC) here at Conference Hall of the DC office to review the cases/claims submitted under SRO-43 by NoKs of terror affected victims in Srinagar district.
During the meeting, the Committee conducted a comprehensive review of the cases/claims submitted under SRO-43 by NoKs of those affected by terror related incidents in Srinagar district.
After a meticulous examination, the Committee recommended fresh cases of Srinagar district to the Government for consideration for compassionate appointment under SRO-43.
Speaking on the occasion, DC stressed concerned officers to ensure speedy disposal of all such cases in a time bound manner to reduce the pendency of such cases to nil.
He emphasised the critical importance of an active and collaborative effort among all stakeholders to expedite the processing and disposal of these cases to provide timely relief and justice to the victim families.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Aadil Fareed; SP Headquarter, Umar Shah; Additional SP CID, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, District Social Welfare Officer, all Tehsildars, senior officers from BSF, Army, and other security agencies, besides other concerned.
