BARAMULLA: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a meeting at the DC office meeting hall here to review the progress of works under various components of District Capex Budget 2025-26, including BDC, DDC, PRI, SSY, Aspirational Block, Aspirational Panchayat, and other related sectors of public importance.
During the meeting, DDC conducted a detailed, sector-wise assessment of the progress on deliverables outlined in the 2025–26 district CAPEX budget, covering all concerned departments viz. R&B, Animal Husbandry, Revenue, Education, and others.
Through the powerpoint presentation, department heads briefed the DDC in detail on the works allotted and tendered, as well as the progress and completion status of works across various sectors.
After reviewing the work progress of each department individually, Minga Sherpa urged the concerned heads to take all necessary measures to expedite the pace of work during the summer months.
Meanwhile, DDC instructed the officers to achieve the developmental targets set for the 2025–26 financial year within the stipulated time frame and to ensure optimum utilization of funds by the end of the quarter.
Furthermore, Minga Sherpa instructed the department heads to coordinate effectively in resolving any bottlenecks and other matters that might impede the progress of development initiatives.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Superintending Engineer R&B, Chief Education Officer, besides all officers of concerned departments.
