Qazigund, Aug 12 (JKNS): In a spirited display of patriotism and national pride, a grand Tricolor Rally was organized today in Qazigund as part of the ongoing celebrations under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, government officials, and security personnel alike.
The rally was led by Tehsildar Qazigund, Khursheed Ahmad Tantray, and included students from various schools across Zone Qazigund, along with officers from different government departments, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF personnel.
With the national flag held high, participants marched through the streets of Qazigund chanting slogans of unity and patriotism. The rally aimed to promote the values of national solidarity, integrity, and communal harmony among the masses.
Speaking on the occasion, Tehsildar Tantray emphasized the importance of such initiatives in nurturing a strong sense of nationhood, especially among the younger generation. “The rally is not just a celebration but a reminder of our collective responsibility to uphold the unity and integrity of the country,” he said.
