Srinagar: The Press Club of Kashmir mourns the passing of Peerzada Hafizullah Qadri, maternal uncle of Ishfaq Gowhar, an executive member of the club and the Executive Editor of Gulistan News Channel, who passed on 3 August 2025.
The club’s executive members assembled to offer their condolences to senior journalist Ishfaq Gowhar.
They also conveyed their sympathies to Ajaz Ahmad Mir, editor of Kashmir Canvas, on the loss of his mother. The members prayed for the souls of the departed and wished Jannat-ul-Firdous for both.
Additionally, the Press Club of Kashmir’s executive body prayed for the swift recovery of Zahoor Ahmad Malik, a veteran journalist currently undergoing treatment at SKIMS following a road accident at Sanat Nagar in Srinagar last week. May Allah grant him a quick recovery. (JKNS)
