Dr Darakhshan Reviews Development Projects, Directs Upgradation of Facilities at Sufi Shrines in Jammu

Jammu, Aug 3: Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, on Sunday reviewed the progress of ongoing developmental works and assessed future projects at several Sufi shrines across Jammu.

Andrabi visited & took stock of the ongoing developmental works and assessed future projects at different Sufi shrines in Jammu.

She inspected the ongoing infrastructure works at the Parking-cum-Office Complex near D.C. Office Jammu and later visited many Shrines & paid obeisance at Ziarat Sharief Hazrat Peer Baba Panj Peer Manda, Hazrat Peer Baba Shahenshah Wali at Ustad Mohalla, Peer Baba Ilahi Baksh Bakshi Nagar & Peer Baba Chautala Sahib Bari Brahmana Samba & took stock of facilities at these Shrines.

Syed Darakhshan emphasized on the timely completion of the projects at all costs. She issued directions for upgrading the facilities and services for the visiting devotees at these Shrines in a time bound manner.

Administrator Waqf Board Jammu Abid Hussain (JKAS), Executive Engineer Sardar Mohammad, Junior Engineer Asif Nawaz, Field Inspector Shakeel Ahmed, Officer in Charge of Ziarats Mohd Yaqoob Shah & other field officials also accompanied the Chairperson during her visit.
