ZEO Kotranka Seeks Explanation Over Non-Compliance With Independence Day Celebration Directions

Rajouri, Aug 2 (JKNS): The Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Kotranka has issued an explanation notice to the Cultural Cell of Zone Kotranka and the Heads of Institutions (HOIs) of Middle and Primary Schools for failing to comply with directions regarding Independence Day celebrations.

According to the notice, as per news agency JKNS, the Director School Education Jammu and Deputy Commissioner Rajouri had instructed all schools to organize activities in connection with the upcoming Independence Day celebrations. However, it was observed that the Cultural Cell and HOIs in Zone Kotranka did not adhere to these instructions.

The Chief Education Officer Rajouri has sought an explanation for the non-compliance, and the ZEO Kotranka has directed all concerned to submit their written explanations by 10:00 AM on August 4, 2025.

The notice warns that failure to provide an explanation will be viewed seriously, and the salaries of those who fail to respond may be withheld.

“The matter will be dealt with strictly, and any lapse in compliance will lead to salary withholding,” the notice reads. (JKNS)
