Sopore, July 23 (JKNS): The 313 Blood Donors Kashmir Volunteers Trust, in collaboration with the Tehsil Legal Services Committee Sopore and GMC Baramulla, on Wednesday organized a blood donation camp at the Court Complex Sopore.
As per details available with news agency JKNS, the camp witnessed active participation from the legal fraternity and administration. Chief Judicial Magistrate Sopore/Sub Judge and Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Authority, Mir Wajahat, and Usman Khurshid, DMMT/Munsif Sopore, also donated blood on the occasion.
The event was attended by ADC S.A. Raina Sopore also participated in the camp. Station House Officer Sopore Iftikhar Ahmad, Bar Association President Faisal Jan Anim, Vice President Manzoor Ahmad Gazii, General Secretary Adv Sameer Ahmad Dar, and several other dignitaries.
Around 80 blood points were donated during the camp, with volunteers stating their target was to reach 100 units. Males and females also donated the blood during the camp. “It is a good initiative and an important step towards saving lives,” said one of the volunteers. (JKNS)
