Kupwara, July 16: In a proactive initiative to combat the growing menace of drug abuse, District Police Kupwara in collaboration with Government Degree College Tangdar organised a comprehensive Debate and Quiz Competition on Drug Addiction Awareness today within the college premises.

The event witnessed active participation from around 20 students who were divided into four groups – A, B, C, and D. The programme aimed to sensitise the youth about the devastating impact of drugs on individuals, families, and society at large. The debate segment saw students present their views with confidence, covering themes such as the psychological and health impacts of drugs, their role in increasing social crimes, and the need for strong community action and awareness to eradicate this evil from society.
