Srinagar, July 9 (JKNS): A fire broke out in the Khanyar area of Srinagar on Wednesday, partially damaging a residential house shared by three brothers.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the fourth floor of the structure was completely gutted before the blaze was brought under control.
The residential house belongs to three brothers and the fire caused extensive damage to the uppermost floor while parts of the lower storeys were also affected, they said.
Fire and Emergency Services personnel, assisted by local residents and police teams, managed to control the flames before they could spread further.
No injuries have been reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation. (JKNS)
