State President Vivek Bali slams National Conference over unfulfilled promises; dozens join SBSP to strengthen grassroots presence

Baramulla, July 6: In a significant outreach initiative, senior leaders of the Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) visited the non-functional Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Dagarpora, located in the Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, on Sunday. The visit aimed to assess the deteriorating healthcare infrastructure and address mounting public grievances.

The SBSP delegation was led by State President Vivek Bali and included North Kashmir Incharge Wajahat Raina, District President Baramulla Mudasir Ahmad Dar, Youth President Zumair Malik, and General Secretary Lateef Ahmad. During the visit, Bashir Ahmad Najar was appointed as the new Vice President for SBSP Baramulla.

In a major boost to the party, dozens of workers from different political parties joined the SBSP in the presence of State President Vivek Bali. Welcoming the new entrants, Bali emphasized that such joinings would help strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

The leaders expressed deep concern over the dilapidated condition of the PHC, which remains shut, forcing locals to travel long distances for even basic medical care. They urged the government to intervene without delay and restore the facility to functional status.

Speaking to reporters, Vivek Bali stated, “We saw firsthand how people are deprived of even the most basic healthcare facilities. The hospital building lies in ruins, and the villagers are suffering. This visit was aimed at highlighting public concerns, including poor road connectivity and water scarcity, which have been neglected for years.”

Bali also criticize’s National Conference (NC), accusing it of deceiving the people of Jammu and Kashmir with false promises. “They spoke about free electricity, 12 gas cylinders annually, and free rations, but nothing has been delivered. Now, they are again trying to mislead the public with hollow slogans,” he remarked.

He further asserted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been betrayed for over seven decades by the National Conference. “There is peace and normalcy now. The time is right for the restoration of statehood, and people deserve their fundamental rights,” Bali said.

The SBSP President also said that the party is fully prepared for the upcoming elections and will field candidates across all districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
