DC Budgam Reviews Progress on New District Hospital, Critical Care Unit in Reshipora

Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner of Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat visited the construction site of  125-bedded new District Hospital and a 100-bedded Critical Care Unit in Reshipora.

During the visit, DC highlighted need for accelerating construction efforts to ensure these essential healthcare facilities are completed in a timely manner.

He pointed out that these hospitals will greatly improve the healthcare infrastructure in the district and offer advanced medical services to local residents.

Dr. Bhat noted that both projects are on track and, once completed, will significantly boost healthcare delivery in the region by providing specialized care and critical medical services.

The District Administration, together with the Roads and Buildings (R&B) department and the health department, is committed to completing these important projects as quickly as possible, aiming to make them available to the public ahead of schedule.

The establishment of the hospital and critical care unit is expected to be crucial in meeting the healthcare needs of Budgam, particularly in delivering specialized and critical medical care to public.

DC informed that continued monitoring of the projects is being conducted to promptly address any issues through coordinated efforts among multiple departments.

During the visit, he was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner  Budgam,  Superintending Engineer R&B circle Budgam, Chief Planning Officer Budgam, Chief Medical Officer of Budgam, Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Budgam, as well as various executive engineers and representatives from the agencies.
