Srinagar, July 3 (JKNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday visited the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Soura to enquire about the health condition of former Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti’s ailing mother, Gulshan Ara.

In a post on X by the Office of the Chief Minister, as per news agency JKNS wrote, Chief Minister visited PDP President Mehbooba Mufti’s ailing mother at SKIMS, Soura today and enquired about her condition.

CM Omar Abdullah was briefed about Gulshan Ara’s condition by SKIMS Director Dr. Ashraf Ganie and Medical Superintendent Dr. Farooq Jan, along with other senior doctors.

Earlier, Mehbooba Mufti’s daughter Iltija Mufti, in a post on X, urged the media not to spread speculation or panic. “Requesting media not to create unnecessary speculation & panic about my grandmother’s health. She’s stable & under observation,” she wrote. (JKNS)
