Two Dead as Oil Tanker Rolls Down in Leh-Ladakh Road Accident

Leh: Two persons lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Leh–Ladakh highway Wednesday evening after an oil tanker skidded off the road and rolled into a deep gorge.

An official told news agency JKNS that both the driver and conductor of the tanker died on the spot due to the impact of the crash. “We reached the site and attempted to assist, but unfortunately both had succumbed to their injuries by the time help arrived,” official said
