The annual pilgrimage holds not only immense religious significance but also reflects the pluralistic ethos and deep-rooted values of communal harmony that Kashmir has cherished for centuries. The arrival of the Yatris marks the beginning of a spiritual journey amidst the majestic mountains of the Himalayas, and it is our duty, as citizens and custodians of Kashmiri culture, to uphold the tradition of Mehmaan Nawazi (hospitality) which this land is renowned for.

The people of Kashmir, regardless of religion or region, have always extended their support in making the Yatra smooth, safe, and spiritually enriching. We deeply appreciate the coordinated efforts of the local administration, security forces, civil society, and volunteers for ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for the pilgrims.

As the Yatra begins, I urge all stakeholders to continue working together to maintain peace, security, and brotherhood. Let this pilgrimage be a symbol of unity and a celebration of our shared values. I also pray for the safe and successful completion of the Yatra for all pilgrims undertaking this sacred journey.

Once again, welcome to all the Yatris. May your journey be safe, blessed, and spiritually fulfilling.
