LG Orders Written Test-Based Selection; No Interviews for Assistant Scientific Officer Posts in J&K FSL

Srinagar, July 1 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday ordered, no oral test interview, or viva-voce for the post of Assistant Scientific Officer (Crime Scene) in the Jammu and Kashmir Forensic Science Laboratory (Subordinate) Service.

The selection will now be conducted solely through a written examination, the notification reads.

In a notification issued by GAD JK, by the order of Lieutenant Governor a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to direct that there shall be no Oral Test/Interview, viva-voce for the post(s) of Assistant Scientific Officer (Crime Scene) borne on the Jammu and Kashmir Forensic Science Laboratory (Subordinate) Service having Pay Level 6E (35900-1-13500).

Further, it is also notified that the selection for aforesaid posts(s) shall be made on the basis of written test only, reads the notification. (JKNS)
