Bandipora, June 25 (JKNS): DIG North Kashmir Range, Maqsood-ul-Zaman, on Wednesday visited the Shadipora Transit Camp in Bandipora to assess the security arrangements ahead of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025.

While speaking to media personnel, DIG Maqsood-ul-Zaman as per the news agency JKNS said, SANJY-2025 is a significant challenge for all of us. “Robust and extraordinary security measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of pilgrims throughout the Yatra,” he said.

He said all security deployments have been made and the security apparatus is fully prepared to manage the Yatra smoothly and securely.

During the visit, DIG Zaman was accompanied by SSP Bandipora Harmeet Singh Mehta, SDPO Sumbal, and other senior officers. The team briefed him on the preparedness and operational strategies to facilitate a peaceful and incident-free pilgrimage.—(JKNS)
