Srinagar, June 21, 2025 – A soulful and inspiring Yoga session was held today at Woodlands House School, Gupkar Road, as part of the International Day of Yoga 2025 celebrations. The event was organized under the leadership of Advocate Syed Junaid Sadaat, who curated the session with the aim of promoting holistic wellness and national consciousness among young students.
This year’s global theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” was brought to life as students enthusiastically participated in the event that seamlessly combined physical well-being with emotional, mental, and spiritual awareness. The session extended beyond the traditional yoga postures, fostering in students a deeper understanding of yoga’s potential to instill discipline, unity, and patriotic responsibility.
Highlighting yoga as a powerful tool not just for health, but for nation-building, the event offered a unique platform for engaging young minds in meaningful conversations about India’s cultural richness, shared values, and the spirit of national unity. Participants were inspired to embrace a ‘nation-first’ mindset and contribute positively to the country’s progress, steering clear of divisive or anti-national sentiments.
Speaking at the event, Advocate Syed Junaid Sadaat emphasized, “Yoga is more than an ancient practice; it is a medium through which we can channel our inner strength and collective identity toward building a peaceful, progressive, and united nation.”
The session resonated strongly with both students and faculty, serving as a reminder that the future of the country rests in the hearts and values of its youth. Through such initiatives, the school reaffirms its commitment to nurturing responsible, proud, and culturally rooted citizens of India.
