Technical audit conducted on GD Goenka school transport fleet in Anantnag

Anantnag, June 20 (JKNS): With a move to enhance road safety and ensure compliance with transport regulations, the ARTO Anantnag team conducted a technical audit of school transport vehicles on Friday.

As per the details available with the news agency JKNS, the inspection focused on the fleet of GD Goenka School Anantnag, which operates a total of 24 vehicles.

“All vehicles were thoroughly examined to verify adherence to the Anantnag District Road Safety Guidelines and standards laid out under AIS 063 and IRC guidelines for safe school transport,” said an official.

Moreover, the audit was carried out under the direct supervision of ARTO Anantnag, Mubashir Jan. Officials said the drive is part of a broader initiative aimed at improving student safety and ensuring the operational fitness of school vehicles. Road Safety Clubs and other related measures were also reviewed as part of the assessment.—(JKNS)
