Timely intervention by the medical team at GMC Anantnag ensured that all injured individuals received appropriate treatment. “Not even a single death occurred, thanks to the prompt and effective medical response,” an official spokesperson stated.

Principal and Dean of GMC Anantnag, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb, commended the medical and support staff for their dedication and swift action in managing the victims. “Our doctors performed admirably under pressure and upheld the highest standards of patient care,” she said.

In-charge Medical Superintendent of MMABM Associated Hospital GMC Anantnag, Dr. Sanjeet Singh Risam, also lauded the hospital team. He credited the leadership of Prof. Rukhsana for significantly improving critical care capabilities at the facility, stating that “hardly any critically ill patients now require referral to Srinagar.”
