DC B’pora reviews DAJGUA implementation for tribal development

Bandipora: In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, convened a comprehensive review meeting on Tuesday at the Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat Bandipora.
The meeting focused on the implementation status, awareness generation, and preparation for the benefit saturation camps to be held from 15th to 30th June in 31 identified tribal villages across the district.
On the occasion, DC emphasized proactive and coordinated efforts by all departments to ensure the effective delivery of schemes and saturation of eligible beneficiaries under various government progra
During the meeting, Qadri reiterated the district administration’s commitment to the inclusive development and upliftment of tribal communities, as envisioned under the DAJGUA initiative.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the upcoming 15-day awareness campaign scheduled from June 15 to 30. This campaign aims to educate tribal communities about various government schemes and ensure saturation of benefits to all eligible beneficiaries.
DC said that the campaign will be formally launched on June 15 at Higher Secondary School Aragam, where all concerned officers will participate and ensure empowerment of tribal communities through this ambitious program.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Programme Officer, ICDS Yaar Ali Khan; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Planning Officer Bandipora, CMO, CHO, CAO, CAHO, AD FCS&CA, Lead Bank Manager, Block Development Officers, and other concerned officers.
