Sanjeev Verma IAS Appointed as J&K Chief Electoral Officer

Srinagar, Jun 2 (JKNS): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday appointed Mr. Sanjeev Verma, IAS (AGMUT:2001), as the new Chief Electoral Officer of the Union Territory.

As per Government Order a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, “In pursuance of notification No. 154/J&K/2025-P.Admn dated 29.05.2025, issued by the Election Commission of India, Mr. Sanjeev Verma, IAS (AGMUT:2001), is appointed as Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir.”
