To expedite the outreach, DC assigned a target of enrolling a minimum of 10 youth in each panchayat within the next 10 days. She directed YUVA Doots to conduct field visits and facilitate on-the-ground registration of eligible youth, thereby ensuring access to opportunities in skill development, entrepreneurship, and employment.

Speaking on the occasion, General Manager, DIC Kupwara briefed participants about the core objectives and modalities of the programme, which is designed to create a robust ecosystem for youth empowerment.

Mission YUVA is a flagship initiative of the Government aimed at equipping educated unemployed youth with necessary skills and support to pursue sustainable livelihoods. The programme focuses on enterprise creation and high-skilled employment generation, enabling the youth to build dignified careers through skilling, entrepreneurship, and self-employment ventures.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Mufti Fareed-u-Din; General Manager DIC Kupwara, Sameer Jan; Assistant Director Employment, Arshid Qadir; YUVA Doots, and other concerned.
