Pahalgam, May 26 (JKNS): MLA Pahalgam Altaf Ahmad Kaloo on Monday chaired a comprehensive review meeting in Pahalgam to assess the progress of ongoing developmental projects, discuss future work plans, and address public grievances in the constituency.

The meeting was attended by a wide range of senior officers from various departments including the Chief Executive Officer of PDA Pahalgam; Officer ICDS Anantnag with CDPOs of Aishmuqam and Bijbehara; Assistant Commissioner Development Anantnag with BDOs of Srigufwara, Mattan, and Pahalgam; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Pahalgam; Chief Planning Officer Anantnag with AD Planning; Chief Education Officer Anantnag with ZEOs of Aishmuqam and Srigufwara.

Also present were Chief Medical Officer Anantnag with BMOs of Sallar and Mattan; Chief Agriculture Officer Anantnag with SDAO Aishmuqam; Chief Horticulture Officer Anantnag; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Anantnag; District Floriculture Officer with AFO Pahalgam; Chief Medical Officer Sheep Husbandry Anantnag; Principal of Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering & Winter Sports Pahalgam; and various engineers from R&B, PHE, PDD, I&FC, and S&D Divisions along with AEEs from concerned sub-divisions.

During the meeting, MLA Kaloo emphasized the importance of time-bound execution of projects, complete transparency, and enhanced inter-departmental coordination to ensure efficient delivery of public services. He directed the concerned officials to expedite pending works and remain responsive to the needs and concerns of the local population.

He reiterated that the welfare of the people of Pahalgam constituency remains a top priority and stressed that all departments must work collectively to achieve the development goals laid out for the region. (JKNS)
