Rajouri : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, the District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Rajouri, organized a series of Mission YUVA awareness camps to self-employment schemes among the local youth.
The camps were held at Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) Shahdra Sharief, Panchayat Ghar Majhoor, and Panchayat Ghar Rajdhani.
The Nodal Officer of BHD Thannamandi (Sub-Divisional Magistrate), Abid Shah, along with other BHD members, deliberated on the objectives and benefits of Mission YUVA. Deputy Director, DE&CC Mohammad Nawaz provided detailed information on the application process, eligibility criteria, and the disbursement of benefits under the scheme.
A large number of participants, including potential entrepreneurs, attended the camps and engaged actively with the resource persons. Many youth were registered on the Mission YUVA portal during the camps, showcasing their enthusiasm to avail of the loan facility and embark on their entrepreneurial journey.
Member District Council (MDC) Thannamandi, Abdul Qayoom, also graced the occasion and encouraged the youth to seize the opportunities provided under the Mission YUVA initiative. The Block Manager NRLM and staff of the Rural Development Department were also present and extended their support to the participants at all three camps.
