DM directs reaching out to every farmer & farm family and ensuring full coverage of the schemes
Kulgam: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan Saturday convened a meeting with officers from various line departments and bankers to review the implementation of Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district.
Meeting held threadbare discussions on different components of the scheme including seed processing units, bee rearing, precision farming, value addition and farm mechanization to improve efficiency and productivity.
It also assessed the performance matrix, sanctioning and disbursement status of cases under HADP in the district.
Directions were passed to the concerned departments and banks to reach out to every farmer and farm family in the district and ensure full coverage of these schemes.
Progress against monthly targets of all the departments was also reviewed .
DC directed all concerned departments to follow up the cases of applicants individually so that the momentum of progress can be maintained.
Bankers were directed to ensure the credit linkage facility to each farmer whosoever applies under the scheme irrespective of their financial status.
The meeting was attended CAO, DSHO, CAHO, DHO, AD Fisheries, Handicraft & Handloom, DIC, LDM and other concerned.
