The primary objective of the operation was to identify and apprehend drug peddlers who often target students and exploit school zones to circulate narcotic substances among unsuspecting youth.

As per a statement issued by ANTF J&K said the task force is committed to dismantling such dangerous networks operating near schools and colleges. The agency has urged the general public to come forward with any credible information related to drug trafficking and peddlers so that swift and appropriate legal action can be initiated.

Additionally, ANTF has appealed to school administrations to remain vigilant and discourage the movement of suspicious individuals near their campuses. “The school guards deployed at gates should be properly briefed and instructed to report any unusual activity or presence of unwanted vagabonds near the premises,” the statement reads.

The department reaffirmed its dedication to protecting the future of the youth and called for community cooperation to make the educational environment safe and drug-free. (JKNS)
