MLA Sonawari Inaugurates RFID System, Awareness Programme On New Criminal Laws At GDC Sumbal Bandipora

Bandipora:- MLA Sonawari Advocate Hilal Akbar Lone inaugurated the newly installed RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system at Government Degree College (GDC) Sumbal.

The system, which has been established at an estimated cost of around Rs. 22 lakh, is aimed at enhancing library management and student services.

Following the inauguration, a special event was held in the college auditorium, where a Criminal Laws Awareness Programme was conducted. The programme focused on educating students about key aspects of criminal law and legal rights.

MLA Hilal Akbar Lone was accompanied by Professor Shabeena Shawl, Principal of GDC Sumbal, Prosecuting Officer Ms Asifa along with faculty members and students of the college.

The event emphasized the importance of legal awareness among youth and highlighted the government’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and civic knowledge in the region.

At the End of the programme Certificates were distributed among students for their participation In Different Programmes.
