Kulgam: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan Wednesday visited Government Higher Secondary School Qaimoh as part of an outreach programme to engage with students, teachers and take appraisal of new initiatives started by the institution.
During the visit, DC interacted with students, inquired about their academic progress, and discussed various initiatives aimed at improving digital education in the institution.
DC also reviewed the infrastructure and facilities available in the school, inaugurated e-library, e-magzine and Noordin Drug de-addiction trophy.
The visit also aimed to foster collaboration between the district administration and educational institutions, improve education quality, identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance digital education to keep pace with latest interventions in education sector.
Speaking on the occasion, DC said that Qaimoh HSS will be pioneering institution in future owing to its new digital initiatives introduced.
Earlier the Principal HSS, Dr Sajad Mir extended gratitude to district administration for the cooperation and support they got in implementing the new initiatives.
It is worth mentioning that HSS Qaimoh has become the first school in district to excel in online learning.
DC was accompanied by ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri, ACR, Tehsildar Qaimoh, ZEO and other Officers.
