Poonch: A meeting to review damage assessment and relief sanctioning was held here Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal. The meeting focused on evaluating the extent of damage caused by recent cross-border shelling and ensuring timely relief to affected families.
The meeting was attended by the ADDC, ADC, ACR, Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Tehsildars and Executive Engineers of PDD and PHE from across the district. Discussions centered around field reports, verification of damage claims and the status of financial assistance disbursement.
During the meeting, it was informed that a total of 691 cases have been sanctioned under the Security Related Expenditure (SRE) guidelines.
