Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, on Friday interacted with the top-performing students of Class 12th CBSE and Class 10th JKBOSE, whose results were recently declared.
An impressive felicitation ceremony was organized by the District Administration, here in the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, to honour the meritorious students. The DC congratulated the achievers for their exceptional academic performance and commended their dedication, perseverance and hard work.
While addressing the gathering, the DC appreciated both government and as well as private educational institutions for providing quality education and nurturing the talent of students. She also acknowledged the pivotal role of teachers and parents in supporting the students throughout their academic journey.
Meanwhile, the DC lauded the hard work and perseverance of the students along with the dedicated guidance of their teachers and the unwavering support of their families. She stated that the purpose of the felicitation ceremony is to honour the students achievements and to engage with them and encourage them in their future endeavours. She advised the students to choose the right company, maintain strong mental resilience and keep open communication with their parents as they step into the next phase of their lives. She further motivated them to remain persistent in the pursuit of their goals, make effective use of their time and stay focused on hard work.
The DC emphasized the importance of nurturing hobbies alongside academic pursuits to support emotional and mental well-being.
During the event, the toppers enthusiastically shared their experiences, study strategies and aspirations.
