Kulgam : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Thursday visited the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Nihama to take stock of the healthcare facilities and assess staff availability.
During the visit, DC inspected various sections of the health centre and reviewed the availability of essential medical services, equipment and manpower.
He interacted with both medical staff and patients to gauge the quality of healthcare being provided at the facility.
Khan emphasized the importance of delivering timely and efficient medical care to the public, and stressed the need for ensuring patient-friendly services. He assured that all necessary measures will be taken to address any infrastructural or service-related gaps.
DC also instructed the Chief Medical Officer to ensure optimal utilization of available staff and to provide round-the-clock healthcare services.
DC was accompanied by ADC, Viqar Ahmad Giri; SDM D.H.Pora, Tehsildar and other officers.
