Poonch: Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Ahmed Rana, visited Jamia Zia Ul Uloom Poonch, and assessed the damage caused there caused to recent cross border firing in the region.
The Minister expressed deep shock and concern over the unfortunate loss of Qari Muhammad Iqbal due to shelling from across the LoC.
Maulana Syed Habib briefed the Minister on the extent of damage caused by shelling in Poonch and specifically at Zia Ul Uloom.
The Minister praised the institute’s management who along with NGOs and administration made commendable efforts in assisting the people during adversity.
