75% Students Pass Class 12th Exams; Girl Tops Merit List

Srinagar, Apr 30 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Wednesday declared the results for Class 12th annual regular exams, with an overall pass percentage of 75%, officials said.

A senior official told news agency JKNS that girl students have once again outperformed boys, with a female candidate securing the top position.

As per official data, the pass percentage among boys stands at 72%, while girls have recorded a higher success rate of 78%.

A total of 1,03,308 students were enrolled for the examination, out of which 77,311 have qualified. Meanwhile, 970 students could not clear the exams, the official added. (JKNS)
