Anantnag, Apr 27 (JKNS): Senior State Vice President BJP J&K and former MLC Sofi Yousuf, along with hundreds of local residents and party workers, today led a strong protest against the heinous terror attack on innocent tourists at Baisaran, Pahalgam.
Addressing the gathering, Sofi Yousuf as per news agency JKNS said that the people of Kashmir stand united as proud Indians and will never allow cowardly terrorists to divide them in the name of religion.
“This attack is not just on the tourists — it is an attack on Kashmiriyat, on our centuries-old culture of brotherhood, hospitality, and harmony,” he said. “In this tragic incident, we have also lost a brave local youth who sacrificed his life while saving tourists from the terrorists’ bullets.”
He highlighted the heroic efforts of hundreds of local Kashmiris who, during the attack, risked their lives to protect and rescue stranded tourists. “Their courage and humanity reflect the true spirit of Kashmir,” Sofi Yousuf added.
The protestors unequivocally condemned this barbaric act and demanded that the perpetrators be swiftly punished and neutralized.
Sofi Yousuf strongly emphasized that these Pakistani-sponsored terrorists must be dealt with sternly and decisively. “Terrorism has no place in Kashmir, in India, or in any civilized society. The entire nation stands united against these forces of evil,” he asserted.
The protest concluded with strong slogans against terrorism and reaffirmed the commitment of the people of Kashmir to peace, unity, and brotherhood. (JKNS)
