MS GMC Jammu Attached After Panic Order Over Cross-Border Tension; Transfers Ordered

Srinagar, Apr 26 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday ordered attachment of Medical Superintendent, GMC Jammu, Dr. Narinder Bhutyal.

His attachment was followed by a series of transfers and postings of Medical Superintendents across health institutions.

Sources told news agency JKNS that the attachment order comes a day after Medical superintendent ordered its Staff to stay prepared and ordered activation of 24×7 Control Room ahead of cross border tension.

Sources said, Medical Superintendent, GMC Jammu, Dr. Narinder Bhutyal, has been attached for circulating an order that triggered panic regarding cross-border tensions. His attachment was followed by a series of transfers and postings of Medical Superintendents across health institutions.

As per the order a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, Dr. Narinder Bhutyal, In-charge Medical Superintendent, Government Medical College, Jammu, has been repatriated forthwith and attached to the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu for further duties.

Dr. Varinder Trisal, In-charge Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban, has been deputed to Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu. He shall also look after the charge of Medical Superintendent, Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu on standard terms and conditions.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sudershan Singh, Medical Officer presently on deputation to J&KMSCL, has been repatriated and posted in District Hospital Ramban. He shall temporarily look after the charge of Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban.

The officials shall be deemed to have been relieved from their previous postings forthwith, the order reads. (JKNS)
