Rajouri: An old and rusted mortar shell was recovered in the Manyal area of Thanamandi in Rajouri district on Sunday.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that a team is on the job to assess the situation and ensure public safety.
Locals spotted the suspicious object and immediately informed the police, who rushed to the spot and secured the area, they added. (JKNS)
