Srinagar, Apr 19 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday warned that those who once thrived off bloodshed and chaos in Jammu and Kashmir will not be allowed to resurface.

Addressing a public gathering, LG Sinha, as per news agency JKNS, said that so-called “conflict traders” had allied with hostile elements across the border over the past three decades, fuelling terrorism and spreading venom to serve their personal ambitions.

“These individuals turned terrorism into a profitable business, sacrificing innocent lives for their gains,” Sinha said, accusing them of manipulating the local population into becoming pawns of violence.

He further stated that in recent years, security agencies have dismantled much of the terror infrastructure and pushed such elements to the margins.

“Now, if anyone tries to raise their head again or revive the past narrative of blood and hatred, they will be dealt with an iron hand,” Sinha said adding that, “There is zero tolerance for these elements. Their agenda will be crushed.”

Peace and progress remain the government’s unwavering priority, and no individual or group will be allowed to sabotage that direction, Sinha said. (JKNS)
