Kulgam: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Thursday visited District Hospital Kulgam to take stock of ongoing health projects there.
During the visit, DC passed instructions for expediting work in District Hospital including time bound completion of 50 bedded critical care unit, IHIP laboratory, additional block for maternity and child health, repair and renovation and face lifting of old portion of District Hospital building, New Ticketing counter and autopsy room and DNB hostel.
He also interacted with patients and enquired about the facilities being provided in the hospital.
It is worth mentioning that under District Capex budget upgradation plan 2024, works (civil and allied) at an estimated cost of 2.61.72 lacs are currently going on in full swing to fill the infrastructural gaps.
The DC was accompanied by ACR Kulgam, Tehsildar Hq, M.S D.H Kulgam, DEIC team, Executive Engineer PWD Kulgam, AEEs and administrative staff of DH Kulgam.
