Srinagar: Police in Awantipora on Thursday booked a notorious drug peddler under PIT NDPS Act in Sub Division Pampore.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar the notorious drug peddler identified as Javid Ahmad Dar@ Brichi S/o Mohd Akram Dar R/o Lalpora Chatlum Pampore has been booked under PIT NDPS Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority & subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jammu.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar its pertinent to mention that many cases are registered against the said drug peddler and was involved in drug peddling by supplying drugs to local youth of Pampore and other areas of Police District.
Besides, this consistent actions of Police against the criminals should reassure the community members that police is making all efforts to eradicate social evils and making all efforts to keep our society free from Juvenile Justice Board, Pulwama admonishes child for riding scooty without driving licence
