Bandipora: In a tragic incident, the dead body of a woman was recovered from Nallah Modo Mati in Sonarwani area in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Mst. Jani Begum (30), wife of Nawab Chowan, a resident of Nigeenpora Athwotoo who had been missing from her home since yesterday.

Officials told news agency JKNS that after recovery of the body, necessary legal formalities have been initiated by police.
